Prior to the retreat you will be sent materials to help you clarify your purpose and intentions for attending the reteat.
2. Attend Retreat:
At the retreat you will explore essential questions to help you reflect, renew and reinspire yourself. To support your reflection, the retreat includes walking a labyrinth, a unique process of mindfulness and self-discovery. You will close the retreat with self-identified action steps that you can put into place to launch you into a positive, powerful and productive new year!
3. Call To Action:
Early 2018, we will hold a web based group “call to action” as a supportive checking-in process. The call will allow you to share your post-retreat action steps and to hear insight from the action steps others have taken.

A. The retreat is lead by Drs. William DeJean – Inspiration Unleashed – and Suzy Green, Founder of The Positivity Institute.
A. The retreat is ideal for people who are contemplating making personal or professional changes or looking for the time to stop and check in on their life. We have had people attend from all walks of life and in various professions including education, leadership, coaching, business, community mental health, local government, etc.
A. The retreat is not for someone who is in crisis or in a severe state of anxiety.
A. In the busy world we live in, it can be hard for people to have ongoing opportunities to stop, reflect, and engage in their own lives. We created this retreat for people to come together to mindfully create lives they are excited about.
A. A “retreat” is an opportunity to step back, reflect, create solitude and carve out time for you. Unlike a “training session,” a retreat allows you to look inward to find your own wisdom and amazing answers.
A. Prior to the retreat, we will send you a pre-questionnaire to help us get to know you and to help you prepare for the session. During the retreat we will be supporting everyone to mindfully close the year, and put into action steps to begin the next year with purpose, intention and inspiration. The highlight of the retreat will be walking the labyrinth, a simply contemplative pathway used for walking meditation. Walking the labyrinth is an opportunity to slow down and reflect on your life, your year and your hopes and dreams.
A. That is really up to you. Some people like to attend these kinds of events by themselves. Others like to bring along someone else to create a circle of support that keeps the work alive after the event. Either way is great. Do what feels right for you.
A. It is natural to feel nervous when we put ourselves in a new environment or try something new. If this is the first time you have attended something like this, apprehension can be a sign that you are stepping out of your comfort zone into something exciting and important.
A. No, not at all! Everything in the retreat is invitational. You will not be forced to do anything that you are not comfortable with. We hope you share, talk with others, and dig deep during the retreat, but you can decide what you would like to engage in.
A. Please bring a pen and a journal. For the end-of-the-year retreat, please bring a hat and sunblock since we will be walking the labyrinth outside (weather permitting).
A. The numbers are limited so we can engage in this work in meaningful ways, and so that everyone who attends gets the time and opportunity to fully benefit from the retreat.
A. People are living busy lives, and for many people this might be the first time they have engaged in this kind of work. We decided to keep the time manageable for people. We hope to run full-day retreats in the future.
A. Yes! If you have attended our Flourishing retreats, attending this retreat is a great way to reflect on your action steps and prepare for the following year. If you haven’t attended our previous retreats, this retreat can work well as a stand-alone retreat. We have had many people attend this retreat who hadn’t attended our previous retreats and got a lot out of it.
A. You can cancel up to two weeks prior to the retreat. There is a small administration fee deducted from the full payment. If you have to cancel after that, we will move your payment for another retreat later in the year.
A. Payments are made through www.williamdejean.com/store
. If you need to pay via an invoice, please contact us and we can make arrangement for this to happen.
