A half-day investment in you!

Flourishing in 2018 is an opportunity for you to invest in your life, your dreams, your goals and your desires.

If you want to bring out the best in your self and have time to reconnect to what’s important to you,  join us at our retreat!

This is our one and only retreat for 2018!  Don’t miss out.

Program Outline

1.  Prepare:
Prior to the retreat you will be sent materials to help you clarify your purpose and intentions for attending the reteat.

2.  Attend Retreat:
At the retreat you’ll explore essential questions to help you create a flourishing personal and professional life. You’ll close the retreat with self-identified action steps that you can put into place to live a positive, powerful and productive 2017 and beyond!

3.  Call To Action:
A few weeks after the retreat, we’ll hold a web-based group “call to action” as a supportive checking-in process.  The call will allow you to share your post-retreat action steps and to hear insight from the action steps others have taken.

  • What are my strengths?
  • What are my core values?
  • How do I ensure my work is coming from a place of my own wellness?

2.  What is the purest intention for my professional work?

  • What is my work really about?
  • What are my purest intentions for my professional work?
  • What is my personal mission?

A. The retreat is lead by Drs. William DeJean – Inspiration Unleashed – and Suzy Green, Founder of The Positivity Institute
A. The retreat is ideal for people who are contemplating making personal or professional changes or looking for the time to stop and check in on their life.  We have had people attend from all walks of life and in various professions including education, leadership, coaching, business, community mental health, local government, etc.
A.  The retreat is not for someone who is in crisis or in a severe state of anxiety.
A.  In the busy world we live in, it can be hard for people to have ongoing opportunities to stop, reflect, and engage in their own lives.  We created this retreat because we see many people who work with needing time to come together with others and mindfully create lives they are excited about, and work that brings meaning and purpose to themselves and our world.
A.  A “retreat” is an opportunity to step back, reflect, create solitude and carve out time for you.  Unlike a “training session,” a retreat allows you to look inward to find your own wisdom and amazing answers.
A.  Prior to the retreat, we will send you a pre-questionnaire to help us get to know you and to help you prepare for the session.  During the retreat we will be working individually, in small groups and in the larger group format to explore questions around your personal and professional life.  This gives everyone an opportunity to clarify values, strengths and ways to move forward for the future.  We will take this insight and guide you through a process to gain clarity about actions you can take to fully move forward in your work and personal life.
A.  That is really up to you.  Some people like to attend these kinds of events by themselves.  Others like to bring along someone else to create a circle of support that keeps the work alive after the event.  Either way is great.  Do what feels right for you.
A.  It is natural to feel nervous when we put ourselves in a new environment or try something new.  If this is the first time you have attended something like this, apprehension can be a sign that you are stepping out of your comfort zone into something exciting and important.
A.  No, not at all!  Everything in the retreat is invitational.  You will not be forced to do anything that you are not comfortable with.  We hope you share, talk with others, and dig deep during the retreat, but you can decide what you would like to engage in.
A.  Please bring a pen and a journal.  For the end-of-the-year retreat, please bring a hat and sunblock since we will be walking the labyrinth outside (weather permitting).
A.  The numbers are limited so we can engage in this work in meaningful ways, and so that everyone who attends gets the time and opportunity to fully benefit from the retreat.
A.  People are living busy lives, and for many people this might be the first time they have engaged in this kind of work.  We decided to keep the time manageable for people.  We hope to run full-day retreats in the future.
A.  No.  Some people only attend one retreat and get a lot of useful insight and concrete actions they can take.  Others have attended all the retreats to create a powerful and meaningful year.  Either way is fine.  Do what feels right for you.
A.  You can cancel up to two weeks prior to the retreat.  There is a small administration fee deducted from the full payment.  If you have to cancel after that, we will move your payment for another retreat later in the year.
A.  Payments are made through www.williamdejean.com.  If you need to pay via an invoice, please contact us and we can make arrangement for this to happen.
